Father-Daughter Dance is Friday, March 22nd at 6:00 p.m. at the Vidalia High School gym.   March 29th-Early Dismissal at 12:30 and Report Card pickup 1:00-3:00.

Father-Daughter Dance March 22nd

The Father-Daughter Dance will be held Friday, March 22nd at the Vidalia High School gym at 6:00 p.m. Admission is $5 for a mother/son pair and includes light refreshments and one photo. Admission for additional family members is $5 each, and extra photos are $5 each.
Please RSVP by Wednesday, March 20th by calling the school office or returning the pink form sent home on Monday, March 11th.

Mrs. Dunn named VLE's 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Mrs. Sandy Dunn, who has been chosen as Vidalia Lower's Teacher of the Year for the 2018-2019 school year. Mrs. Dunn is a Special Needs teacher who has been an educator for 32 years. This is her 18th school year at Vidalia Lower. She is a champion for all students, but special needs students hold a special place in her heart because each one is unique and special. She says that she learns as much from her students as she hopes they learn from her. Congratulations, Mrs. Dunn.

Congratulations, Ms. Mingee, selected as one of the top 3 Louisiana Elementary Teachers of the Year!

Vidalia Lower is proud to announce that our school librarian, Ms. Susan Mingee, has been named one of the top 3 Louisiana Elementary Teacher of the Year finalists in the 2019 Louisiana State Teacher of the Year program. Ms. Mingee was honored at the Cecil J. Picard Awards Gala where she received commendations from Governor John Bel Edwards and the Louisiana Department of Education, as well as several prizes and an invitation to join the elite National Network of Teachers of the Year Association. Way to go, Miss Mingee!
